Still from Nuna (2023); Video 9:12 min; Video credit: Tuk TV

Nuna, meaning “land” in Inuvialuktun, repurposes the broadcloth used in Stitching My Landscape (2017). The fabric is reconfigured to form a large red cross and left on the ice for a period of two months. A universal symbol for aid, this form represents a call to action, signalling the impending urgency to actively visualize and address how human behaviour disrupts the climate.
